Great local place to eat if you are on Johns Island. Takes awhile to get your food but it is hot and fresh.

This place is a hidden gem on John's Island. I visit this place regularly as they have fresh local produce and frozen items for cooking at home. The restaurant has a quaint country vibe (like a small Cracker Barrel but much nicer with better food) and lunch here is a must. To be honest, I live 2 miles from this spot so I'm definitely biased but also lucky to have fresh boiled peanuts so close !
Outstanding! We had eaten some great food this week on our family vacation. We checked out the menu online and I really wanted some fresh vegetables, so the last night we went. OMG ! I got the vegetable plate and it was delicious. My wife got the prime and my daughter got the roasted chicken. Every thing was great!! We will definitely be back!!
I can't say enough about the chicken and dumplings as they are delicious and should be served daily. The tomato pie (which they are known for) is extremely greasy and not what I expected. It is my least favorite thing on the menu to be honest. The shrimp salad is another go to on a hot summer day. A cute place where you can also shop for items to bring home and the wait staff is always sweet.
It's a small quant place they have a small store with a produce section in the back. The food was pretty good although my friends meal was a little well done but she said it wasn't bad.
First visit the Stono Market. I was very impressed with the service and the food was very delicious. Friendly atmosphere, quick service! I'll be back here for a second visit to try some other dishes. If you like something different, you got to try this place.
